Product flow is critical to our customers. Pluggages in material flow disrupts processes, causes environmental and safety problems as well as maintenance headaches. These issues can cost significantly in down time to free up blockages and repair damages.

The Turbo Air Cannon is an easy installation with minimal cost to solve these types of issues and downtime. Our Turbo units stops the issue of cohesive material flow fringing and ratholing that allows material to move freely. These devices are more efficient than “fluidification” and “vibration” systems, especially with particularly sticky products. The air cannons consist of two basic elements: the first is the Turbo diaphragm valve with an extremely high flow rate and the second is an air accumulator. The valves are quick-opening and discharge instantaneously the pneumatic energy of the tank on which they are mounted, striking the material to be dislodged with a violent impulse of compressed air. A strong vibration spreads to all parts of the product, causing the dust to fall, without stressing the silo’s structure.
